Yes. Food X-ray systems use very low doses — a product receives less radiation passing through the machine than during a transatlantic flight. Systems are fully shielded and certified; operator exposure is far below the public limit. We assist with the registration required in your country.
If your only risk is metal and the pack is not metallised, a metal detector is cheaper and simpler. If you have glass, stone, bone or foil packaging, or want fill-level and count checks, X-ray is the answer. Many lines run both. We help you decide based on your product and risk assessment.
